HOW IS THE NONPROFIT CHOSEN?

A current member of Women Who Care - Greater Oshkosh must submit a grant proposal form for the nonprofit organization requesting the donation.

Three proposal forms are chosen at random at each meeting to be considered.

The nonprofit organization will give a short 10 minute presentation as to why the organization should receive the donation.

All members vote for the organization of their choice; the organization with the most votes is awarded the donation.
WHO CAN BE SPONSORED?
In order to be considered at a meeting:

the organization must be located in the greater Oshkosh area

it must be a non-profit organization recognized as a 501(c)(3)

exceptions to the 501(c)(3) status, e.g., school districts, must be approved in advance by the Core Team (utilize the Contact Us section or discuss with a Core Team member)
